Initialization of the detector
When the U • H1 control unit leaves the factory, the detector channel is deactivated. An initialization of
the detector is necessary to activate the channel to which the detector is connected. Via this sub menu,
the
U•H1 control unit starts the verification of the channel, performs an offset initialization of the
measurement and displays the situation visible thereto.
During the detection and calibration phase :
•
a spinning symbol reports the initialization process
•
a ‘

‘ symbol (dash) for a channel seen without the detector or with the detector that the offset
initialization failed for
•
a ‘

’ symbol (star) for a channel seen with a connected and initialization detector
The initialized detector is displayed.

The U•H1 control unit asks for a confirmation of the detected configuration.

Pressing the “ Enter ” button confirms the new configuration of the U•H1 control unit. The channel with
the connected detector is then enabled.
The “ Esc ” button can be used to abandon the modification and return to the information menu.
