TRIMAX Plus

Page 16

Fig. 5

Move  trailing  bar  arms  to  holes  (A)
for a very deep setting.

Always  lower  the  machine  to  the
ground and support the trailing bar
before detaching.

Shallow/surface setting

Move the pins down for a shallow/surface setting. This raises the soil frame,
positioning  the  tines  for  a  shallower  depth.  It  may  be  necessary  to  run  the
soil  tines  into  the  ground  a  little  to  loosen  pin  (C),  fig.  4).  Once  pin  (C) has
been moved one hole down on the flange, lift the machine and place pin (B)
as close to arm (D) as possible.

Adjusting plate depth

Fig. 6

Correct  plate  adjustment  leaves  a
smooth soil surface without grooves
from  the  harrow  tines.  Fine-
adjustment  is  achieved  using  spin-
dle (A). This cannot be done before
TRIMAX  Plus  is  in  the  field.  The
plates should be set to work on the
surface, to throw a suitable amount
of soil after the harrow teeth.
