Setting up
The machine is supplied with factory settings, but fine adjustment will always
be required before use. Numerous adjustment options make the machine
more flexible and ensure maximum use.
Depth
Working depth is controlled by the rear trailing bar with T-rings.
Tine depth can be adjusted using pins the bars (A). The upper pin (B) deter-
mines depth, whilst the lowest (C) carries the weight of the trailing bar when
the machine is raised.
It may be necessary to adjust the top bar to keep the machine horizontal
after adjusting depth.

Lift the machine sufficiently to re-
lieve the pressure on pin (B) from
arm (D). The pin can be pulled out
and moved up one hole. Move the
lowest pin (C) up correspondingly,
so that the support is always as
close to arm (D) as possible.
It may be necessary to run the tines into the soil a little (or support the trail-
ing bar) to apply pressure to the trailing bar if adjusting the machine to a
deeper setting. Pin (C) is then easier to fit into the hole closed arm (D).
