n Hoist to include interface steel/fasteners required for mounting to structure
CERTIFICATION/DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED FROM HOIST MANUFACTURER:
n Signed certification by PE/Company CEO that the design meets the specifications for this application.
n Auxiliary fail-protection overspeed braking system to have been installed and functionaly on at least two
installations for a period of one year, or be field testable for functionality.
n Installation to include operator training and signed receipt of those trained.
n Recommended inspection schedule.
n Calculations for hoist design must be available on demand with PE signature.
n Certificate of Conformance to metallurgical, drawing and general manufacturing processes of the gear drive
manufacturer. Document must originate from the gear drive manufacturer.
n Calculations on maximum transitional load to structure if overspeed brakes where activated.
