Troubleshooting tips
In case of malfunction, you can solve many common problems easily.
• The door has been opened too often, or it has been
left open for a while. It will take time for the refrig-
erator to reach its set temperature.
• Make sure the air circulation at the rear of the re-
frigerator has not been reduced due to insufficient
clearance.
Requesting assistance or service
If the problem is not caused by one of the items listed above, contact the
dealer or an authorized Service Center.
The following is not a problem:
• A gentle gurgling sound caused by refrigerant flowing through the pipes.
• Compressor is operating at high temperature.
Problem
Possible cause/Solution
The refrigerator
won't operate
• Make sure that the power supply cord is plugged in.
The doors will not
close completely
• The drawers are out of position.
• The gaskets are dirty.
• The refrigerator-freezer is not level.
Noisy operation
• Make sure that the refrigerator is level and it is not
in contact with another appliance or kitchen furni-
ture.
The refrigerator does
not cool sufficiently
If the unit will not be used for a long period
If the refrigerator will not be used for a long period of time, proceed as fol-
lows:
1. Disconnect the unit from the main
supply by removing the plug from
the wall socket.
2. Clean and dry the inside as in-
structed under the

section.
3. Leave the door open to prevent
any unpleasant odors from building
up while the refrigerator is not in
use.
