The engine does not start.
(or is difficult to start.)
・
The machine is not switched on.
・
The fuel tank is empty.
・
No enough priming.
・
The engine sucks excessive fuel.
・
Old fuel is being used.
・
Switch the machine on.
・
Refuel the tank.
・
Press the priming pump 5-7 times.
・
Start the engine with the throttle lever
and choke lever fully opened.
・
Exchange it for a new one.
・
Do not work at low engine
revolution speed. (The engine
stop).
・
The carburetor was not adjusted
properly.
・
Adjust the carburetor.
・
It does not accelerate well.
・
Grass coils around the engine.
・
The carburetor was not adjusted
properly.
・
The idle speed is too low.
・
Remove the grass.
・
Adjust the carburetor.
・
Increase the speed until just before the
cutter starts revolving.
(Adjust there carburetor.)
・
Output power is not sufficient
during operation or the engine
stops.
・
The element (air filter) is dirty.
・
Improper fuel is being used.
・
Clean the element or replace it.
・
Use proper fuel mix ratio.

The cutter does not stop at low
speed.

The carburetor was not adjusted

The clutch spring has trouble.
・
The idle speed is too height.
・
Adjust the carburetor.
・
Replace the clutch spring.

Decrease the speed until the cutter
stops.
・
The cutter does not revolve even
though revolution speed is
increased.
・
Grass coils around the cutter.
・
The holder or setting plate is loose.
・
Remove the grass.
・
Tighten the nuts on the holder or setting
plate.
・
Abnormal vibration
・
The cutter is not concentric or a tooth
on the edge is chipped.
・
The drive shaft is bent.
・
The bolts on the gear case are loose.
・
Adjust the hole of the cutter with the
machine and tighten the screws. Or
replace the cutter.
・
Replace the drive shaft.
・
Tighten the bolts on the gear case.
BLADE
Pay attention to the following items for safe use of the cutter. [Usable cutter type]
4-cutting edges
8-cutting edges
Circular saw edges
Chip saw
(star cutter) (whirl cutter) (circular saw)
・
Use a blade with an outer diameter of less than 230mm (9 inches).
・
Do not use a blade with an outer diameter greater than of 250mm (10 inches).
Caution: Never use a chipped or cracked blade! The blade will be damaged and may cause serious injury.
