Test Note:

All symptoms listed above are diagnosed using the same tests.

The title for the tests will be P0382-GLOW PLUG 2 CONTROL
CIRCUIT - OPEN CIRCUIT.

When Monitored and Set Condition:

P0382-GLOW PLUG 2 CONTROL CIRCUIT - OPEN CIRCUIT

When Monitored:

With the ignition on.

Set Condition:

The ECM does not detect voltage on the Glow Plug Relay 2 Control circuit.

P0382-GLOW PLUG 2 CONTROL CIRCUIT - SHORT CIRCUIT

When Monitored:

With the ignition off.

Set Condition:

The ECM detects excessive current on the Glow Plug Relay 2 Control

circuit.
