(2) After piping work is finished, check drainage flows smoothly.
•
Open the water inlet lid, add approximately 2.5 liter of water gradually and check drainage
flow.
WHEN ELECTRIC WIRING WORK IS FINISHED
!
Check drainage flow during COOL running, explained under "TEST OPERATION".
WHEN ELECTRIC WIRING WORK IS NOT FINISHED
!
Remove the electric parts box lid, connect a power supply and remote control to the
terminals.
(Refer to the “HOW TO CONNECT WIRINGS”)
Be sure attach the electric parts box lid before turning on the power.

Next, press the inspection / test operation button “
” on the remote control. The unit will
engage the test operation mode. Press the operation mode selector button “
” until
selecting FAN OPERATION “
”. Then, press the ON / OFF button “
”. The indoor unit
fan and drain pump will start up. Check that the water has drained from the unit. Press “
”
to go back to the first mode.

Be careful when doing so because the fan is turning at the same time.
!
Attach the electric parts box lid as before.
Caution
•
Drain piping connections
Do not connect the drain piping directly to sewage pipes that smell of ammonia. The
ammonia in the sewage might enter the indoor unit through the drain pipes and corrode the
heat exchanger.
•
Keep in mind that it will become the cause of getting drain pipe blocked if water collects on
drain pipe.
