If  the  temperature  is  higher  than  30°C  and  the  humidity  is  higher
than RH 80%, the thickness of the insulation materials should be at
least  20  mm  to  prevent  condensation  on  the  surface  of  the
insulation.

13.2

Connecting the refrigerant piping

13.2.1

To connect the refrigerant piping to the
indoor unit

Refrigerant piping can be connected from following directions:

Remove the rear piping pipe port cover and cut out the holes for
piping. When cutting out the holes, make sure to avoid the knob
part of the cover.

Run the field supply pipes through the cut out holes.

After the drain and refrigerant piping is finished, install the pipe
port cover back. Run all the cables (except cable of expansion
valve) through the clamp of the pipe port cover and fix.

Upward piping

INFORMATION

L-shaped  connection  piping  kit  (optional  accessory)  is
required.

Remove the top pipe port cover and cut out the holes for piping.
When cutting out the holes, make sure to avoid the knob part of
the  cover.  Use  an  L-shaped  connection  piping  kit  (optional
accessory)  for  the  piping.  Run  the  pipes  through  the  cut  out
holes.

Remove the reinforcing plate at the right side and put back the
screw in the original position on the indoor unit.

Remove the decoration side panel.

Remove the rectangular part of the decoration side panel.

After  the  drain  and  refrigerant  piping  is  finished,  install  the
reinforcing  plate  (optional  step)  and  the  decoration  side  panel
back.
