Care and Cleaning
CAUTION
• Only a qualifi ed service person is allowed to perform maintenance.
• Before cleaning, be sure to stop the operation and turn off the circuit breaker.
• Do not touch the aluminium fi ns of the indoor unit. If you touch those parts, this may cause an injury.
Air fi lter
1.
Removing the air fi lter.
• Rear suction
Pull the bottom side of the air fi lter backwards, over the bends.
•
Bottom suction
Pull the fi lter over the bends situated at the backside of the unit.

Cleaning the air fi lter.
Remove dust from the air fi lter using a vacuum cleaner and gently rinse them in cool water.
Do not use detergent or hot water to avoid fi lter shrinking or deformation. After cleaning dry
them in the shade.
3.
Replacing the air fi lter.
• Rear suction
Hook the fi lter behind the fl ap situated at the top of the unit and push the other side gently
over the bends.
•
Bottom suction
Hook the fi lter behind the fl ap situated at the middle of the unit and push the other side gently over the bends.

NOTE
For cleaning, do not use any of the following:
• Volatile liquid such as benzine, petrol and thinner
•
Polishing compounds
• Rough materials such as a scrubbing brush
