# Code Description
[9.8.4] [D-01] Connection to a Benefit kWh power supply
or a Smart grid :
▪ 0 No : The outdoor unit is connected to a
normal power supply.
▪ 1 Open : The outdoor unit is connected to a
preferential kWh rate power supply. When the
preferential kWh rate signal is sent by the
electricity company, the contact will open and
the unit will go in forced off mode. When the
signal is released again, the voltage-free
contact will close and the unit will restart
operation. Therefore, always enable the auto
restart function.
▪ 2 Closed : The outdoor unit is connected to a
preferential kWh rate power supply. When the
preferential kWh rate signal is sent by the
electricity company, the contact will close and
the unit will go in forced off mode. When the
signal is released again, the voltage-free
contact will open and the unit will restart
operation. Therefore, always enable the auto
restart function.
▪ 3 Smart grid : A Smart Grid is connected to
the system
[9.8.5] N/A Restriction: Only applicable if [9.8.4]= Smart
grid .

the 2 incoming Smart Grid contacts.
