When disposing of the outdoor unit, you need to recover its refrigerant.
To ensure that no refrigerant remains trapped in the unit:
▪ Make sure the stop valves are open ( a , b ).
▪ Make sure the valves ( Y1E , Y3E , Y2S , Y3S ) are open.
▪ Use all 3 service ports ( a , b , c ) to recover refrigerant.
