3.5 Bi-directional Talk
1. Connect the speaker or the microphone to the Audio Input on the camera and to the input port on
the computer.
2. Connect the earphone to the Audio Output on the camera and to the output port on the computer.
3. Launch Internet Explorer and type the camera IP address in the address bar. Internet Explorer
opens the Login page.
4. Type the Username and Password for the camera. (The default Username and Password is
“admin
”). Then, click Login.
5. Click the Talk button to enable bi-directional talk. The button turns orange to indicate the bi-
directional talk is enabled. Click the Talk button a second time to disable the bi-directional talk.
3.6 Alarm Setup
Certain devices support alarm inputs and outputs, check your specific device for alarm capability.
Alarm Input
Refer to Figure 3-3 for alarm input configuration. The device collects that status of the alarm input port
when the input signal is idle or grounded. If the input signal is connected to the 3.3 V or it is idle then
the device receives the alarm input signal. If input signal is grounded, then no alarm input signal is
detected.

Alarm Output
The ports ALARM_OUT and ALARM_OUT_GND form a switch that is used to provide alarm output.
Normally the switch is on. The switch turns off when there is alarm output.
