Next add the rice to the water according to the amount of water using the
Measuring Cup (9) – following the table above.

Place the Rice Cooker Body (6) on a solid, level, heat resistant surface, away from
the edge of the work surface and at a comfortable height for the user. Ensure that
the cooker is not used below cupboards or near curtains, etc.

Once the water and rice are added, carefully lower the Bowl (5) into the Rice
Cooker Body (6), turn the bowl gently to the left and right to ensure that it is
correctly settled in place.

Place the Glass Lid (3) onto the Bowl (5), ensure
that the Steam Vent (2) is positioned away from
the user:

Insert the mains plug (with dry hands) into
the mains socket and switch on (if
applicable).

Switch the unit on by pressing the On/Off Switch
(7) on the left-hand side of the unit to the ‘I’
position, the Warm Light (11) will illuminate as
below:
