Troubleshooting Guide 

Problem 

Possible Cause 

Solution 

Unit fails to turn on. 

Internal battery not 
charged. 

The charger is not plugged 

into the mains socket. 

Charge the internal battery. 
 

Ensure the charger is fully 

inserted into the socket and 
the socket is switched on. 

Low suction or poor pick-up.  Dust Compartment is full.  

Filters are clogged.  

Low Power Selected 

Empty the cylinder.  

 

Check and clean the filters. 
Press the Min/Max Power 

Button (8) 

The vacuum is making a 

“hissing” sound.

 

The airflow is restricted 

Empty the Dust Compartment.  
Check and clean the filters. 

Clear any blockages if 

necessary. 

 

 

 

Brush Blockage Indicator 
(31) not lit 

 

The Carpet Brush (22) or 

Hard Floor Roller (23) is 

obstructed and/or tangled 

with hair and debris 

Switch off the vacuum cleaner 

and remove obstruction from 

the Carpet Brush (22) or Hard 

Floor Roller (23). 

 
 

 
Air Intake Blockage Indicator 
(32) not lit

 

The Aluminium Flexi-Tube 
(21) and/or vacuum Air 

Inlet (5) are blocked. 

Switch off the vacuum cleaner 
and remove obstruction from 

the Aluminium Flexi-Tube (21) 
and/or vacuum Air Inlet (5) 

 

 

 
Dust Sensor Failure (27) 

Indicator not lit 

 

The vacuum is very dirty 

and/or blocked and the 
Dust Compartment full. 

Switch off the vacuum cleaner 

and empty and clean the Dust 
Compartment (3), Filters (2), 
Aluminium Flexi-Tube (21)
