Auto Defrost
Auto Defrost automatically defrosts ground meat, steaks,
chicken pieces.
• For example: Defrost a 2.0 pound steak.
1. Touch AUTO DEFROST pad once. Then touch the
AUTO DEFROST pad two more times to select steak.

2. Enter weight by touching the number pads .
3. Touch START/INSTANT ON pad.
4. The oven will stop and directions will be displayed.
Follow the indicated message.

• The weight can be entered in increments of 0.1 lb. If
you attempt to enter more or less than the allowed
amount

• Auto Defrost can be programmed with More or Less
Time Adjustment. See page 23.
• To defrost other foods or foods above or below the
weights allowed on Auto Defrost Chart, use time and
30% power. See Manual Defrost on page 13.

Shielding prevents cooking from occurring before the center of the food is defrosted. Use small smooth strips of alumi-
num foil to cover edges and thinner sections of the food.
