PARTS & FUNCTIONS 

‘BIRD’  Button

  -  Activates  Motor  Arm  to  raise  Ratcheting 

Safety  Arm  and  release  Ratcheting  Cocking  Lever  to  fire 
Dummy Launcher. 

 

‘BEEPER’  Button

 - Activates Beeper/Locator to help audi-

bly  locate  the  launcher  in  the  field  from  up  to  450  yards 
away. 

 

Launcher  Selector  Knob

 - Chooses which launcher is be-

ing  controlled.    The  RDL  Transmitter  can  control  up  to  16 
different launchers. 

 

Transmitter  LED  Indicator  Light

  -  The  red  LED  light  will 

turn on any  time a Transmitter  button  is pushed to indicate 
that the Transmitter is being operated.  If the red  LED light 
blinks  rapidly  after  pushing  any  Transmitter  button,  the  9-
volt battery will need to be replaced soon. 

 

Transmitter  Antenna

 -  Be sure to check that the  Antenna 

is  securely  fastened  to  the  Transmitter  before  each  use.  
Hand-tighten  only.    Be  careful  when  screwing  the  Antenna 
into  the  Transmitter.    Over-tightening  the  Antenna  can 
cause damage to the Antenna and/or the Antenna mount. 

 

‘T’  Switch

 - The “T” Switch should always be in the up posi-

tion when operating the Launcher.  

 

Battery  Cover

  -  Slides  open  to  access  Battery  Compart-

ment. 

 

Battery Compartment

 - Houses 9V Alkaline battery. 

 

Lanyard  Connection

  -  Lanyard  can  be  connected  to  the 

top of the Transmitter (Lanyard included).
