Section 2 - Installation
Connecting to the DIR-508L
You will need to connect to the DIR-508L wirelessly to configure it.
•
Turn on DIR-508L by sliding the ON/OFF/Charge switch to
ON.
•
On your computer or mobile device, connect to the DIR-508L’s
wireless network. By default, the settings are:
•
Wi-Fi Network Name (SSID):
DIR-508L
•
Password: (leave this blank)
Mobile
Desktop
Note:
If you have a device that supports Wi-Fi Protected Setup,
please refer to “WPS Button” on page 45.
•
Once connected, open a web browser on your mobile or
computer and type
http://dlinkrouter.local.
in the URL
address box.
•
At the login page, enter the Admin Password. By default, it
should be left blank. Click
Log In
.
