Section 4 - Configuration
VoIP
Configure the following basic VoIP settings:
VoIP Provider
Protocol:
Select the protocol used for VoIP. The default is Session Initiation
Protocol (SIP). It is a networking protocol which allows your VoIP
devices and servers to communicate with one another.
Binding Interface
Name:
Specify the WAN interface for VoIP. Please select the Service Number
of WAN interface with VoIP service.
Select Region:
Select the region for your IP telephony service.
Main Configuration
Enter the information of the primary VoIP registrar in this section.
Register Server:
Enter the IP or URL address of the registrar.
Register Server
Port:
Specify the port number used for VoIP registration.
Proxy Server:
Enter the IP or URL address of the SIP proxy server.
Proxy Server Port:
Enter the port used for SIP proxy.
Outbound Proxy:
Enter the IP or URL address of the SIP outbound proxy server.
Outbound Proxy
Port:
Enter the port used for SIP outbound proxy.
The VoIP page allows you to configure all of the parameters essential for
Voice over Internet Protocol(VoIP) and specify all required settings for the
phone connected to the router. Go to
Features> VoIP
and select
VoIP Basic,
SIP Filter,
or
VoIP Advanced
. Please check with your Internet phone service
provider or leave the settings at their defaults if you are not sure.
