Section 4 - Configuration
Static Route
The Static Routes page allows you to define custom routes to control how data
traffic is moved around your network. To access this page, go to
Features >
Static Route.
Select
IPv4 Static Routes
or
IPv6 Static Routes
.
If you wish to remove a rule, click in the
Delete
column. If you wish to edit a
rule, click in the
Edit
column. If you wish to create a new rule, click the
Add
Rule
button. Click
Save
when you are done.
Complete the following to create or edit a rule:
Create New Rule
Destination
Address:
Enter the destination subnetwork IP address.
Destination
Subnet Mask
(IPv4):
Enter the subnet mask of the destination address. The subnet mask
determines an IPv4 subnetwork.
Prefix Length
(IPv6):
Enter the IPv6 prefix length (0~128), which is the number of prefix
bits of an IPv6 address. The prefix determines an IPv6 subnetwork.
Gateway IP
Address:
Enter your next hop gateway to be taken if this route is used.
Service Number:
Specify the interface to transit the packets of this static route.
Metric:
The route metric is a value from 0 to 15 that indicates the cost of
using this route.
Click
Apply
when you are done. A maximum of 16 rules can be defined.
