To make an outgoing phone call:
1. Lift the handset or press the
[Speaker]
key to use the speakerphone.
2. Dial the phone number of the person you are calling. The DPH-130S will try to reach
the number after about 2 seconds.
To end a call, put the handset back or press the
[Speaker]
key if you are using the
speakerphone.
Note: You may reverse the order of the above steps (i.e., dial the phone
number first and then pick up the handset or press the [Speaker] key).
This way, if you enter a wrong number, you can press the [Clear] key to
erase it before it is actually dialed. Using this method may reduce the
possibility of dialing a wrong number.
Hint: Pressing the [#] key after you dial a phone number will reduce the
wait time for a connection.
Note: The [Redial] key can be used to dial the last dialed number again
whenever the phone is in idle mode, hook-off mode, or in
speakerphone on mode.
