Section 2 - Installation
Power
Plug the DHP-W220AV into an AC wall outlet where you want to extend your network and press the power button. The Power
LED on the DHP-W220AV will light green to indicate it is receiving power and ready for use. This may take up to 60 seconds.
Connect to Your Existing Network
By default, the DHP-W220AV should automatically connect to the DHP-208AV via Powerline. To manually connect, press the
Common Connect Button
on the DHP-W220AV for 3 seconds. Then, press the
Simple Connect Button
on the DHP-208AV
for 3 seconds. This must be done within two minutes after pressing the
Common Connect Button
on the DHP-W220AV. The
Powerline devices will reboot. After rebooting, the Simple Connect LEDs on both devices should be lit, indicating an active
Powerline connection.
Clone My Wi-Fi
automatically copies the network information from your router so you can connect to the
DHP-W220AV via wireless with the current network information.
