Side Panel Description
The left and right-hand panel of the DE S-3528 and DES-3528DC Switches contain a he at vent. The he at vents a re
used to dissipate heat. Do not block these openings, and leave at least 6 inches of space at the rear and sides of the
Switch for proper ventilation. Be reminded that without proper heat dissipation and air circulation, system components
might overheat, which could lead to system failure.

The right-hand side panel of the DES-3552 and DES-3528P Switches contain two system fans and ventilation alon g
the entire rig ht side. The left hand pan el includes a heat ven t. The system fa ns are use d to dissi pate heat. Do not
block these openings on either side of the Switch. Leave at least 6 inches of space at the rear and sides of the Switch
for proper ventilation. Be reminde d that without proper heat dissipation and air circulation, system components might
overheat, which could lead to system failure.
