Network Management Commands
delete snmp trap_receiver
Purpose
Used to delete a trap receiver entry on the
switch made using create snmp trap_reciever
above.
Syntax
delete snmp trap_reciever <ipaddr>
Description
The command allows the user to delete an
SNMP trap receiver specified previously
using the create trap_receiver command
above.
Parameters
<ipaddr>
−
the IP address of the
management station that is currently
specified to receive traps from the switch’s
SNMP agent. This management station will
be deleted from the list of up to three that can
be entered using the create snmp
trap_receiver commmand above.
Restrictions
Only administrator-level users can issue this
command.
Example Usage:
To delete a trap receiver 10.1.1.1:
DES3226S:4#delete snmp trap_receiver 10.1.1.1
Command: delete snmp trap_receiver 10.1.1.1
Success.
