KAI-1P ACTUATOR MONITOR
The KAI-1P actuator monitor application allows the user to monitor the vital signs of the actuators of the platform.
Note: The KAI-1P device must be powered and connected to the PC (its LED must be green) for the application to work.
GLOBAL CONTROLS AND INDICATORS
Adapter_Number
: This control selects the particular KAI-1P device that is being monitored. KAI-1P devices can
be attached and detached from the PC dynamically. Every time a KAI-1P device is connected or disconnected
from the PC the
Adapter_Number
list is updated.
HardRev
: Is the revision number of the KAI-1P device.
CHANNEL-SPECIFIC INDICATORS
Vital Signs
: The 4 fields numbered 0 to 3 contain all the vital signs of each of the 4 actuators in the KineLink
chain. The green indicator in each field indicates if the corresponding actuator is communicating or not. Note that,
as per KineLink specifications, all the actuators must be communicating for the vital signs to be updated. The vital
signs may also indicate a fault of the corresponding actuator. If an actuator is in fault, the type of fault is
described.
NbComErrors
: This field indicates the number of communication errors after communication has first been
established.
State
: This field indicates the state of the KineLink platform (
Standby
–
Traffic
–
Fault
, etc.)
