Connecting to the AC Mains Supply
Connect the socket on the AC Power cable to the Power
inlet

on the rear panel of the
PSX-R
2
. Now connect the
cable to a suitable AC power point.
NOTE: The means to disconnect this product from the
mains supply is the mains plug. ensure that the mains plug
is accessible at all times.
Connecting the PSX-R
2
to Cyrus Products
Only one connection is necessary from the
PSX-R
2
power
supply to a Cyrus product. The 5 pin connector
d
fitted
to the umbilical cable must be securely connected to the
socket marked
PSX-R
on the rear of the partnering Cyrus
product. When correctly fitted, the connector will latch into
place in the socket. Note that when a
PSX-R
2
is in use, both
the
PSX-R
2
power supply and the Cyrus product will require
connection to the mains supply.
Use with early Cyrus products
When used with a Cyrus III, Cyrus IIIi, Cyrus 7 or Cyrus
Power, the amplifier must be internally changed to accept
this external power supply. This modification should only be
carried out by an appointed Cyrus Dealer. If you decide to
use a modified component without a Cyrus
PSX-R
2
, the unit
must be re-configured.
