- Fe: The iron and metal concentration in the water
should not exceed 1 mg/l (1 ppm)
- Mn: The manganese level should not exceed 0.1 mg/l
(0.1 ppm)
- Boilers and heaters: calmat® works best for systems
with heating elements surface temperatures of max.
203°F/95°C.
Installation
1)
Place calmat ® on the pipe. Install calmat ® on
the main water pipe and fix the electronic unit
with the cable ties.
2) Now place the red impulse cable in the
left socket (4). Feed the cable to the back
of the pipe and fasten with a cable tie.
Wind the cable tightly and firmly around
the pipe to create a coil. Plug the second
impulse tie through the black loop at the end of
the cable and fasten it.
3) Repeat the installation with the second impulse
cable again (see 2.).
4) First connect the adaptor (5) with the electronic
unit
with the socket on the left site of the device. Plug
the mains plug into the power socket (permissible
voltage: 100 - 240 V, 50/60 Hz). The green control
light (3) will light up. The display will show: calmat

Please choose your language with the upper but-
ton ( ). Then press the button (P) to select the
program according to your pipe material and
pipe diameter (a,b,c, or d). You can change the pro-
gramme selection at any time later.

Final check
The electricity supply is indicated by the green con-
trol light (3). The display shows the activated pro-
gram.
