To set a negative value of the “Notch Distance” parameter is useful in cases where the alignment point refers to the
notch printed on the previous ticket or where the desired cutting line is placed in the middle of the alignment notch (for
example, for paper with holes or gap). In the following images, the value of “Notch Distance” parameter is set to -A.

If the notch is placed on the non-thermal side of paper, the “Notch Distance” value can have a minimum value of -5mm
(negative value) and a maximum of 66mm. This maximum value is imposed by the mechanical distance between the
lower notch sensor and the printing head.
