COMPACT DISC

1.

Always use a compact discs bearing the mark as
shown.

2.

Notes on handling discs.
Removing the disc from its storage case and loading it.

*

Do not touch the reflective recorded surface.

*

Do not stick paper or write anything on the surface.

*

Do not bend the disc.

Storage
*

Store the disc in its case.

*

Do not expose discs to direct sunlight or high tempera
tures, high humidity or dusty places.

4.

Cleaning a disc.
*

Should the disc become soiled, wipe off dust, dirt
and fingerprints with a soft cloth.

*

The disc should be cleaned from the centre to the
edge.

*

Never use benzene, thinners, record cleaner fluid
or anti static spray.

*

Be sure to close the CD door so the lens is not
contaminated by dust. Do not touch the lens.

MODE/REMAIN

Press MODE/REMAIN button changing the display as shown
below.
In the radio mode : Frequency display >> Clock display.
In the CD mode :
(During play) Playing time display >> Remaining time display
>> Clock display.
(During stop) All time display >> Clock display.
In the TAPE mode : Clock display.
(Remark: The REMAIN  indicator  will light up on the  display

during on playing CD stage)

CLOCK SETTING

* Press POWER is on standby mode.
* Press MEMORY/C-ADJ button, time display hour digit
     flash.
* Press TUNING/SKIP UP or DOWN button to adjust

hour digit.

* Press MEMORY/C-ADJ button again, Time  display
    minute digit flash, pressTUNING/SKIP/SEARCH UP or
    DOWN button to adjust minute digit.

MUTE (REMOTE CONTROL ONLY)

If you press the MUTE button, the indicator will light on &
the audio output will be temporary terminate. Then press
MUTE button  again, the indicator will light off & the audio
output will continoues as normal.

    

TIMER SETTING

* Press POWER in Standby mode.
* Press MODE button changing the display as shown “
  TIMER ON” digit, press MEMORY/C-ADJ button & TUN
   ING UP/ DOWN button to select the time of the  TIMER
   ON, press MODE button changing the display as shown”
   TIMER OFF” digit, press MEMORY/C-ADJ button & TUNING
  UP/DOWN but   ton to select the time of TIMER OFF.
* Press TIMER button, the display timer shown. The time
  of TIMER ON is on the standby mode.
* TIMER ON for wake up radio or cassette. The inital vol
  ume level is equal to last turn off volume level.
NOTE : Except CD on the CD mode.

    

PRESET EQ

Press the PRESET EQ button, and LCD indicator will dis-
play CLASSIC or ROCK or POP graphic equalizer. Then
you can adjust the tune to desired level & set of indepen-
dent frequency controls, you can get your favourite sound
shape flexibly.
