CASSETTE OPERATION

Playback

Playback a pre-recorded tape
1. Press  the  TAPE button once  and  the “TAPE”  indicator

light up on the display.

2. Press  the  cassette  door open, then the cassette door
      eject button and insert a recorded cassette.
3. Press the PLAY button.
4. Adjust the VOLUME control for your desired level.
5. Press the  STOP button to stop playback  at any time.
      When the end of the tape is reached, the  tape  will
      automatically stop.

Winding The Tape

1.   Press F.F. to fast-foward the tape.
2.   Press REW to fast-rewind the tape.
3.   Press STOP to stop fast-forward or fast-rewind,
      before the end of the tape.

ALC (Automatic Level Control)

Recording

This unit has an ALC circuit and no further adjustment is
necessary.
A) Recording from the built-in radio
1. Tune  in   a   desired  radio  programme as  described  in

“RADIO OPERATION” section.

2. Press the OPEN CASSETTE DOOR button, then the cas-
     sette door eject.
3. Insert a cassette & close the cassette door.
4.  Press the REC button.
5. Since you can monitor through the speakers with-
    out affecting the  of recording level, you can ad-
    just the VOLUME and other controls.
6. Press the STOP button to stop recording at any time.

B)

Recording from the CD player
Proceed the CD play operation as described in “PLAY-

       ING A COMPACT DISC”.

Pause

Press the PAUSE button of momentarily stop tape  travel
during recording. Re-press the button for pause release
and recording restart.

RADIO OPERATION

Press the TUNER & BAND button to selet the Radio operation.

Listen to radio

1. Press TUNER button to select waveband range
     will appear on the display.
2. Select  the  desired  waveband range with the  BAND

button.

Automatic tuning

1. Press TUNING UP/DOWN for a second or more, then

release the button. The tuner will automatically for first
station of sufficient signal strength.

2. Press above procedure if you wish to select another

station.

Manual tuning

1. To   tune   to   weak  stations,   use  manual  tuning  by

pressing  TUNING UP  or DOWN  button  continuously
until you read the correct frequency or the reception is
at its best.

2. When you want to select FM stereo station, press the
    FM MODE  button on STEREO first . When you receive

a  FM stereo  station the “STEREO” indicator  appear
on  the  display, you  can  receiving FM stereo tramission.

3. When  you  press the FM MODE button to MONO,stop

the stereo recieving.

STORING STATION

When beats are produced while listening to or recording
a AM broadcast, active the beat cut switch so that the
beats are eliminated or minimized

BEAT CUT

UK-8

1. 20 station for all bands that can be stored in memory,

you can tune in the stored station directly by entering
the memory number.

2. Select your desired band.
3. Tune in the desired station
4. Press MEMORY/C-ADJ. button  ‘MEMORY” indicator

will flash on the display.

5. Press M.-UP button to select the channel.
6. Press MEMORY/C-ADJ. button to store the station.
7.   Repeat above steps for each station stored.

Note :

1. You can not erase a previously stored station, but

storing a new station will exchange the previous one.

2. If no power supplied, then stored station are erased.

Please store station again.
