Fan Operation

The fan can be switched on independently of the heating elements.
Turn the Power Control to “FAN” position, the unit will blow cool air out from the air outlet. 

The heater or the fan will not operate by turning the Thermostat Control when 

the thermostat setting is too low.

Safety Protective Devices

Overheat Protection System

The power to the heater will automatically cut off if the temperature of the heater exceeds 

a certain limit. In the event of overheating, the heater will stop operating. Switch the heater 

off and allow it to completely cool. The heater will then resume operating as normal.

Tip-over Protective Switch

When you use the heater in an upright position on a flat and stable surface, the tip-over 

protective switch will be on. In the event the heater is knocked over, the heater will stop 

functioning automatically.

•  Do not override the tip-over protective switch as this may cause a hazard.
•  Using the unit on a deep pile carpet may activate the tip-over protective 

switch.

Switching the Unit Off

•  Turn the Power Control to the “OFF“ position.
•  Turn the Thermostat Control to the “MIN” position.
•  Unplug from the mains supply.

Heating Operation

Position the heater upright on the floor away from curtains, furniture or wall coverings 

before plugging your unit into the mains socket. 

This unit will not operate unless positioned on a flat stable surface or if the 

thermostat is set too low.

•  Turn the Power Control to the “LOW” (low heat) or “HIGH” (high heat) position.
•  Turn the Thermostat Control clockwise until you hear the “poop“ sound to switch on 

the unit, and then set your desired position.

It is normal for the heater to emit some smell and fumes when it is turned on for 

the first time or when turned on after not being used for a long period of time. 

This smell will disappear when the heater has been turned on for a short while.

The heater or the fan will not operate by turning the Thermostat Control when 

the thermostat setting is too low.
