Installing the Lock Motor Mount
NOTE:
Install the motor mount after the drive pipe has been positioned in guide brackets.
1. Attach one mounting bracket brace (48) to each side of the mounting bracket (36) with #14 x 1" TEK
screws (3).
2. Attach the motor mount bracket (49) to the mounting bracket (36) with 3/8"-16 x 1" screws (6) and
3/8" lock nuts (16) provided.
3. Position the top edge of the motor mount bracket (49) exactly at 19/32" (1.51 cm) from the top edge
of the back plate (38).
4. Align the slot of the motor mount bracket (49) in line with end of the drive pipe (50).
IMPORTANT:
Make sure that sprocket of motor (51) will align exactly with the sprocket on end of the
drive pipe (50).
5. With motor mount bracket (49) properly aligned according to the above steps, attach the mounting
bracket (36) to the framing with 3/8" x 2" lag screws (7).
IMPORTANT:
shows two separate Unitized Systems with motor mounted
between the systems. When two systems are installed, separate back plates (38) by
26" (66.04 cm) to allow for the installation of lock motor assembly (47).
