200g plain fl our
Pinch of salt
50g butter, divided into 2.5cm cubes
50g lard, cut into cubes
3 tbsp cold water
• Insert the large chopping blade into the medium work bowl. Add the fl our, salt, butter
and lard into the bowl replace lid and process until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs.
• Remove the small pusher and with the appliance running, pour in the water gradually
through the small feed tube. Continue to process until a single ball of dough is formed.
• Wrap the pastry in cling fi lm and refrigerate for 30 minutes before use.
