"Client to Client" LFP Application
Each channel of the client side supports LFP function. With LFP
function of a particular channel enabled, if this channel is link down, the
far end of the channel will be forced to link down as well. A complete
table of "Client to Client" LFP settings is provided below for your
reference.
For example:
In this example, the diagram shows that LFP function of CH1 in
local client side is enabled but the remote client side is disabled. When
the link fault occurs at the local side, this will force the remote client link
down. On the other hand, when the link fault occurs at the remote side,
this will not force the local client link down.
