Open both clamping levers
on the quick releases and
pull the lower end of the
pole to the right length.
Then close the clamping
levers again.
Important:
Do not extend
the shaft segments beyond
the “STOP MAX” marks on
the shaft segments. Sufficient
stability cannot be guaran-
teed otherwise.
If the clamping force of the quick release is no
longer sufficient, tighten the nut on the opposite side
of the clamping lever.
• Walking on level ground
(Figs. C/D)
Set the pole length so that your upper and lower
arms form a 90° angle. Make sure both poles are
adjusted to the same length. An indication of the
pole length can be found on the middle and bottom
pole segments. If you want to adjust the pole length
to 120cm, set the middle and bottom pole segments
so that the 120cm marking is just visible from under-
neath the top pole segment.
