Mount the Motor Shade Band

NOTE:

The motor band has a motor on one end and a permanently

extended pin on the other.

1. Insert the end of the motor shade band with the permanently

extended pin into the first angled coupler bracket.

2. Raise the motor end and push the motor side up to engage the latch

onto the posts. When the motor shade band is properly seated, the
two clips spring down to secure the motor to the bracket. Make sure
that both posts are properly engaged and locked into place by the latch
before letting go.

3. Using the spanner wrench, rotate the collar at the fixed-shaft end in

the direction of lowering the shade. Rotate the collar until it can no
longer rotate to make sure that it is in the locked position.

4. Cycle the motor shade band through three open and close cycles.

Carefully observe the fabric path to make sure that it does not hit any
obstructions and that the fabric does not telescope. Shim the brackets
or the fabric to level the shade and prevent telescoping.

5. Set the upper and lower limits of the shade. The limits set for the

motor band will be the limits for all additional bands.

Mount the Intermediate Shade Band

NOTES:

l

Intermediate bands have a spring-loaded pin on one end that can be
extended or retracted during mounting, and a permanently extended
pin on the other end.

l

When mounting multiple intermediate bands, remember to always
mount a spring-loaded pin adjacent to a permanently extended pin. In
other words, do not mount permanently extended pins adjacent to
each other.

1. Insert the end of the intermediate band with the permanently

extended pin into the next angled coupler bracket adjacent to the drive
band.

2. Raise the other end of the band so that it is level with the angled

coupler bracket. Use the spanner wrench to fully extend the spring-
loaded pin into and through the angled coupler.
