Regular cleaning (at least every two months) means better coffee and
makes your appliance last longer.
Scaling is not covered by the guarantee..
Use special descaler (never use vinegar) following the mixing instructions
on the label.
Remove all capsules
from the machine before descaling.
Power cuts or switching off
interrupt the descaling programme
. Then the
cleaning key flashes red/violet because the water circuit still contains descaler
which is a health hazard.
Before making another drink in such case, al-
ways make sure the machine is flushed out with clean water.
