Making coffee/tea / After making coffee/tea
The coffee/tea key flashes white after pressing if heating up is still in progress.
Output starts when it stays white. Output quantities can be individually adjust-
ed (

page 12 «Coffee output programming»).
Tip:
use thick preheated cups for Ristretto and Espresso to keep your coffee
warm.
Preheat cup
: fill Ristretto
(without capsule) in cup.
Vent piping:
after long pauses (e.g. vacations) the piping will contain air

Before changing between coffee and tea:

Capsule:
The capsule may stick in the opening if it has been there a long time.
If so, open and close the operating lever. If the capsule is still blocked, push
down lightly with a finger (caution: hot sharp opening point inside!).
After opening the
operating lever
, water may drain into the tank. This is nor-
mal and not a fault.
Empty the used
capsule container and drainage tank
after about 10 bever-
ages or at least once daily to prevent overflow.
Important:
– Beware of hot coffee/tea: danger of scalding!
– Coffee/tea output is only possible with closed operating lever
