Disassembling and Storing
To disassemble your Cutter’s Mate, hold the base firmly with one hand, and with the other hand, gently
detach the slide plate from the nylon bushings, one side at a time. Your Cutter’s Mate is now ready for
transport or storage. Store your Cutter’s Mate in a clean, dry place.
Replacing the Cutting head
To replace the Toyo TC 10 Cutter rotate Phillips screw, without completely turning it out off the thread.
Remove the cutting head, and beware that the spring in the cutting head is in place, over the pin. If you do
not see the spring, this is still in the cutter. Get in that event out of the cutting head and place it in the new
cutting head (this is supplied without spring!).
Install new cutting head and make sure that when tightening the Phillips screw, the screw falls in the Pin
recess. (See detail white circled black arrow in the picture below)
