SteP 10 - Angle braces (continued):
level your play set. Tighten all connections except the angle
braces (b). do not over tighten.
Position all of the angle braces (b) with the angled ends
flat against the Corner Posts nearest to them. With a pencil,
mark the position where the holes in the angle braces rest
against the Corner Posts. at each mark drill a 1/8" diameter
x 2" deep pilot hole in the Corner Posts. Fasten the angle
braces (b) to the Corner Posts using one 5/16 x 3" lag
screw and Flat washer in each angle brace (b).
note: The stringers have been omitted from the illustration
for clarity.
SteP 11 - narrow Platform boards:
locate the two narrow Platform boards (i). Fasten the
narrow Platform boards (i) tightly against the Platform ends
(W) on top of the stringers (g & h). Fasten the narrow
Platform boards (i) to the Platform stringers with six #8 x 2"
screws on each board.
SteP 12 - Platform boards:
layout all the Platform boards (o) on the inside and outside
stringers. space the Platform boards (o) evenly between
the narrow Platform boards (i). attach each Platform board
(o) using six #8 x 2" screws.
