MAINTENANCE

CAUTION:

Always be sure the heater is switched OFF, unplugged and completely

cooled before cleaning or attempting to store the item.  The Tower Heater takes
approximately 15-20 minutes to cool completely.  Do NOT immerse heater in water
or allow water to drip into the interior of the heater, as this could create an electric
shock hazard.

PLEASE NOTE:

Regardless of the type of heating system setup, always install and maintain

at least one smoke detector in good working condition on each floor of your home.
Periodically check and/or replace the battery in your smoke detector with a fresh battery.

CLEANING & STORAGE

Always turn off the heater and disconnect the cord from the electrical outlet before
cleaning your heater.

Light accumulated dust may be removed from the heater with a soft cloth or vacuum
cleaner.

Clean the outside of the heater by wiping with a damp cloth and buff with a dry cloth.

DO NOT use any detergents or abrasives and do not allow any water to enter the heater.

DO NOT allow water to run into the interior of the heater as this could create a fire or
electric shock hazard.

The fan motor is lubricated for life and will not require further lubrication.

AIR FILTER

Dirt and dust may be caught on the air filter during operation. The caught dirt and dust may
negatively affect the function of the device. So clean the air filter regularly.
Remove the grill for the inflow of air from back part of the device. Remove the air filter from
the grill. Wash the filter by hand in a lukewarm solution of water and detergent. Then rinse
the filter in clean water and allow it to dry thoroughly. Place the clean, dry filter back into the
back grill and attach it to the device. Do not use the device without the filter and back grill
being installed.

STORING

Allow the appliance to cool completely before storing.  Store the appliance in a dry
location.  Do not place any heavy items on top of appliance during storage as this may
result in possible damage of appliance.  Store the cord in a clean, dry location away from
metal objects.  Always check the plug before use to assure metal items have not become
attached.
