OPERATION AND USE 

 

NOTE:

 It is normal for the heater to emit some odor when it is turned on 

for the first time or after having not been used for a long period of time.  
This will disappear when the heater has been on a short while.  

 

1.

 

Place the product on a flat, 
steady, stable, heat-resistant 
surface. 

2.

 

Plug the Power Cord into a 
standard 120 VAC electrical 
outlet. 

3.

 

Turn the Heat Select Knob to 
either the low heat or the 
high heat position. 

4.

 

Allow the heater to warm up 
until the room temperature 
reaches your desired comfort 
level.   

5.

 

The Indicator Light shows 
that the heater is plugged 
into a power source. 

 
CAUTION:

 DO NOT touch grill cover while hot! 

 

SAFETY PROTECTION SYSTEMS 

This unit has protection safeguards that shut off the unit when 
components become excessively hot or if it tips over. 

 
TIP OVER SWITCH 

This heater has a built-in safety feature to automatically turn off the 
device when it is tipped over. If the device falls over this function serves 
as protection against a dangerous situation. 

OVERHEAT PROTECTION 

The heater has an internal, over-heating safety device which 
automatically switches the heater off if an over-heat situation is detected.  
If this should occur, unplug the appliance and wait until the unit cools off.  
Once the unit has fully cooled, you can switch it on again.
