STEPS & TIPS:
• A Flexible Pipe Coupling Or Fitting Is Recommended To Help Compensate For Settling Of Ground.
• Make Sure The Required Redundant Check Valve Is Installed In Proper Direction. Flow Arrow Should Point
Away From The Basin.
• A Shut Off Valve Must Be Installed Between The Force Main And Redundant Check Valve.
• Backfill Around The Basin per specifiation ASTM-D2321.
• Backfill Around The Basin To A Level Just Below Where The Inlet Will Enter The Basin.
• All discharge piping and valves should be below local frost depth. If burial depth is above frost depth, piping
should be insulated.
• Before hydrostatic checking of lateral line (150 PSI Max.), close the shut-off valve inside the station.
This will avoid over-pressurizing the internal station components.
