Remove 3 screws from switch housing cap (at
top of light kit fitter). Make sure pull chain is
threaded through corresponding hole in light
kit fitter.
Locate
BLUE
(or
BLACK
) and
WHITE
wires in
switch housing labeled FOR LIGHT KIT
CONNECTION. Remove and discard plastic
that holds these 2 wires together.
Connect
WHITE
wire from switch housing to
WHITE
wire from light kit fitter. Connect
BLUE
(or
BLACK
) wire from switch housing to
BLACK
wire from light kit fitter. Be sure that
molex connections snap together completely.
Align holes in switch housing cap with holes
in switch housing. (
NOTE
: The gap on the
edge of the switch housing cap must align
with the reverse switch on the switch housing
for the proper fit.) Attach light kit fitter with
screws that were previously removed.
Securely tighten all 3 screws with a Phillips
screwdriver.
Thread fan pull chain through corresponding
hole in light kit fitter.
Install bulbs included with light kit.
IMPORTANT
: When replacing bulbs, please
allow bulbs and glass shade to cool down
before touching them.
Locate slots on glass shade and align with
protrusions on light kit fitter. Push up gently
on glass shade and turn to the RIGHT
(clockwise) until glass shade locks into place.
Pull down
gently
on glass shade to make sure
that it is secure.
Please proceed to Section 11 on page 10 to
complete installation.
