Attach Wiring Harnesses to the Wiring Harnesses in the Decorative Cover
and place the Decorative Cover to the completed Fan Motor Assembly
and securing the assembly with the Finial. Be sure to align the decorative
elements of the Decorative Cover with those of the Glass Bowl.

Step 9
Position downrod so the hole in the downrod aligns with the hole in the
coupling on the motor. Insert safety bolt (S8) through coupling and
downrod and attach nut. Tighten firmly. Tighten set screw "A" against
downrod. Replace switch housing cover (6) by placing it over the
downrod and plugging in the black antenna wire. Rest the switch cover
on the motor housing (7) and turn firmly clockwise until secure. Place
canopy (3) over downrod (#2). Replace hanging ball, insert hanging pin
through downrod and tighten set screw "C" in hanging ball into
downrod.
WARNING:
Failure to
completely tighten downrod as
described in steps 5 & 6 above
could result in the fan loosening
and possibly falling.
