To detach, twist the hood clips slightly inwards towards the centre of the pushchair then remove
from the chassis (b).
When the back seat is set in a reclined position the rear hood can be attached or detached to the
seat by means of fastener strips located on the underside of the hood and the underside of the
rear seat (c, d, e & f).
8 - opening & closing the hoods
Both hoods can be opened by means of hinges on either side of each hood (a). To open a
hood push down on the hinges until the hood begins to open out.
To fold the rear hood back pull up on the hinges till the hood begins to fold (b). Once the hood
has begun to move you can fold it back by pushing the hood itself (c). In order to fold the front
hood pull up on hinges (d) till the hood begins to fold then with both hands on either side of the
pushchair push the hood shut as indicated by arrows.
9 - fitting the hinge covers
Unzip and open out one of the hinge covers.
Place the hinge cover behind the hinge (a) and close the cover around the hinge (b).
Re-fasten the zip (c).
Wrap the top flap around the back of the rear seat hood hinge (d) then fasten the two poppers on
each side of the hinge cover (e).
Repeat this procedure with the remaining hinge cover.
10 - adjusting the rear seat
The rear seat has 3 recline positions. To lower the backrest pull up catches (a) located on both sides
of the seat back to lower and select the position as required.
To raise the backrest, push upwards from the centre to the required position: it will lock into place
automatically.
Once the backrest is in its reclined position the sides of the pushchair can be attached to the rear
flap using the two fastener strips and press studs to create a secure space for the infant (b).
When the back seat is in its raised position or possibly when the infant is older the rear flap can
be secured out of the way by folding back under and secured with the fastener strip (c). Ensure
seat back is upright before closing/folding the pushchair.
Note:
Always ensure the backrest is secure and the necessary adjustments are
made prior to use.
11 - using the harness
To lock the harness, push the ends of each strap (a) into the buckle (b) until they click into place
locking the waist and crotch straps together.
To unlock the harness, press together the clips (c) allowing the straps to be slid out from the
buckle.
All straps on both front and rear harnesses can be fully adjusted to securely fit your infant.
To adjust the straps simply slide the adjusters (d) up or down till the required size is found.
‘D’ rings are fitted at the end of each waist strap should you wish to attach a separate harness
complying with BS EN 13210.
WARNING:
Always use the crotch strap in combination with the waist belt.
12 - removing the harness
The harness can be removed for cleaning purposes. To remove the crotch strap & shoulder straps
push the plastic clips through from the rear of the seat unit (a) & (b). To remove the waist straps,
first unfasten the webbing by feeding the edge of the webbing through the opening in the metal
clip (c) and push the metal clips through from the rear of the seat unit.
To refit the harness and chest pads reverse the instructions above.
