RECALL BUTTON
The RECALL button is used to recall the
numbers stored in the Memory locations. To recall a stored number,
lift the handset, press the recall button and dial the digit (0-9). The
three emergency locations are activated by lifting the handset and
pressing the M1, M2, or M3 button.
MUTE Button
Press the MUTE button so that the other party cannot
hear the conversation at your telephone. The LED lights indicating
the conversation is muted. You can continue to listen to the other
party. Pressing the MUTE button a second time will return you to
the call and the LED goes out.
IN-USE Indicator
The in-use indicator will light when the handset
is lifted from the cradle.
MONITOR BUTTON
Press the Monitor Button to dial a number and
pick up the handset when you party answers.
HOLD Button
Press the HOLD button and return the handset to
the cradle to put the call on local hold where it can be retrieved at
any telephone connected to the line. The HOLD LED flashes when
a call is placed on hold. To retrieve the call lift the handset or, if the
handset is off hook, press the HOLD button

VOLUME CONTROL
Your telephone com-
plies with the latest FCC part 68 regulations
by having a switch in its handset (see
location of switch as shown in pictorial) that
allows the user to increase the subset's
receive volume. This increased volume should
allow persons with hearing impairments to
carry on normal conversations by adjusting
the receive volume to its proper level.
