Appendix A.1 Installing the TCP/IP Protocol
If you are not sure whether the TCP/IP Protocol have been installed, follow these steps to check, and if necessary, to install
TCP/IP onto your PCs.
1. Click the
“Start”
button. Choose
“Settings”
, then
“Control Panel”
.
Double-click the
“Network”
icon. Your Network window should appear.
Select the
“Configuration”
tab.
Note: For Windows 2000 & Windows XP Setting
Click the
“Local Area Connection”
icon on the right bottom side of your desktop screen.
In the
“Local Area Connection Status”
window, click
“Properties”
button then your Network window will appear.
