10.3 Parameter navigation/setting
Starting from the STAND-BY or OPERATION mode, it is possible to
navigate the menu to display the various parameters controlling the
machine.
Press the buttons
or
to navigate the parameters and display them;
the LCD display will show the parameter number/name on the left and
its value on the right. Press the [ON/OFF] key
to exit the parameter
page. If no key is pressed for 5 seconds, the control unit will automatically
quit the parameter page.
It is possible to navigate, display and modify parameters only from the
STAND-BY mode, as follows:

parameter to be changed is shown on the LCD display, press the [ON/
OFF]
and [HEATING ELEMENT]
buttons at the same time to
access the setting; the parameter value will flash on the right. Press the
buttons
or
to change the value. Press the [ON/OFF] key
to
confirm and exit.
Parameters can be modified from the keyboard without having to enter
any password.
In Bollyterm
®
HP 1/2 models equipped with a coil for use with solar
plants, it is recommended to set the target temperatures [Parameter
0 and parameter 2] in such a way as to prioritise and optimise water
heating through solar energy.
To this purpose, set the temperatures [Parameter 0 and parameter 2]
at the minimum temperature required by the customer (e.g. 42°C), so
that the Heat Pump heats the upper part of the boiler only up to this
temperature, allowing the solar plant to heat the water up to higher
temperatures (thus saving electricity).
Warning: if solar radiation is insufficient, this setting can cause the water
to be heated only up to the set temperature and thus lead to a reduced
availability of domestic hot water.
