KMnet Admin
KMnet Admin
is Copystar's unified device
management solution that uses a web-based
platform to give network administrators easy and
uncomplicated control of all network enabled
printing devices. By using state-of-the-art
technology, features can be added to
KMnet Admin
by installing software add-ins that
give the administrator and users only the
features that they require without adding
additional complicated applications.

software installation is necessary.

KM-NET Viewer
KM-NET Viewer
is a stand alone utility, and
gives Administrators the ability to filter devices
by Model Number, Speed, Group, Status and
Protocol.The ability to arrange by filter and
create groups based on department or floor
plan is particularly advantageous, so
diagnostics and any subsequent actions are
easier to perform.
KM-NET for Clients
In larger companies and environments, device
administration and management may be
handled at multiple levels. Each department or
workgroup may be responsible for the daily
tasks associated with their output devices. In
this case, an all-encompassing tool such as
KM-NET Viewer
may be more than
management is willing to distribute. Key
Operators and Managers have an obligation
to their own point of need. For this important
assignment, Kyocera developed a utility called
KM-NET for Clients.
Unlike KMNV, which can
view all output devices on the network,
KM-NET for Clients
can view up to five (5)
Copystar devices at a single time. Once
installed, the utility can perform a search on
the local network segment or port. Once auto-
discovery is accomplished, up to five devices
can populate the utility for administration. A
Virtual Front Panel
will be accessible,
showing machine status, estimated paper
levels and default Page Description Language
(PDL) of the interface.
